Tal Builders LLC

Tal LLC has recently completed a lanai (aka deck) renovation and extension at our residence. We are enormously pleased with the results and the work that Tal LLC did for us.

The hallmarks of the construction work by Tal LLC included:

• Efficient and excellent architectural design of the job to be done, based on rather sketchy requirements we gave them.
• Prompt submission and approval for a Building Permit from the City and County.
• Removal and replacement of some defective beams that weren’t envisaged as necessary until removal of the old lanai flooring had begun.
• Discussion of pros and contras for several options, e.g. paint vs. stain, “Trex” vs. wood.
• Rapid completion of the job, with periodic checks to make certain the job was meeting our approval.

We are thoroughly enjoying our new lanai and can heartily recommend Tal LLC, based on excellent work and rapid completion of the project. It was a pleasure to work with Tal LLC and we can heartily recommend them.

Mr. Shai Tal has done contracting construction work for me for almost 10 years.Mr. Tal did two extensive residential projects in my home for a total value of $150,000. One renovation was a complete kitchen and the other the main living room. The work was superb, both in quality and price. Mr. Tal delivers quality work on time on budget. In addition, when working with architects, he often comes up with better ways of doing things that often are cost saving. I give him my highest recommendation for residential construction and remodeling.

Mr. Tal was my exclusive contractor for a small shopping center, Kailua Center, that i owned in Kailua, and was sold in 2009. Mr. Tal did Tenant improvement work, roofing, painting of the center. In this commercial work again he was first rate, on budget, on time, and the quality of the work was first rate. In on instance I had a leaky roof for a decade and a number of roofing contractors were unable to solve the problem. Mr. Tal and is sub-contractors were finally able to solve the problem.

Mr. Tal has also done a number of commercial jobs for Kalaniiki Estates AOAO, of which I am the president. These included building a small bridge, and repairs to rock walls. Again the quality of work was superb. Mr. Tal was the low bidder on these jobs. He showed the same professionalism and high quality on these jobs as he had on others.

In conclusion, I give Mr. Tal my highest recommendation for any contracting jobs, residential of any size, tenant improvement of any size.
